“Can you transfer this photo to my phone?” Norman asked the bridesmaid.

“Sure, I’ll do it right now,” the bridesmaid took the phone and transferred the photo to Norman’s.

Norman thanked her and rushed back to question the person who hid an important piece of information from him.

Once again, he was in the parking lot of Fiori. This time, however, the restaurant was not as quiet as before. He knew there were customers inside.

“I think you need to stay behind for this one,” Norman said to Milo. But there was no way Milo was going to do that. She got out of the car and walked beside Norman.

“Nope. No way. I know you’re not here to dine. We’re running service right now. We can’t let the dog in here, Sir. Please,” the manager came out as soon as he saw Norman.

“Okay,” Norman backed off as he didn’t want to create a scene.

This time, Milo took the lead and walked past where they had parked the car.

“Milo, where are you going? The car is here,” Norman followed behind. A couple of seconds later, they were in front of what looked like a back staff door.

“Good job, girl,” he said to Milo and headed inside.

Everyone was so busy with their work, they didn’t even notice Norman sneak in.

The place was filled with the aroma of food that was cooking. There was the sound of sizzles, splashes, and utensils clinking. The head chef was ordering everyone around.

Norman looked around for Sienna. After looking for a couple of seconds, he found her at the stove, cooking something.

“Milo, you have to stay back here. This is a kitchen,” Norman said to Milo. This time, she stayed behind.

Norman entered the kitchen as he saw no other way to talk to Sienna. He didn’t want to disturb anyone else, so he made his way tentatively to Sienna’s workstation.

“Sienna, I need to talk to you,” Norman said in the lowest voice possible.

“What are you doing here? Can’t it wait? Gosh, you’re going to get me fired,” Sienna threw the towel she was holding on the cutting board. She then lowered the heat on the stove where she was cooking some kind of soup.

“Come on, oldie,” she said and pulled Norman to the side. “What do you want now?”

Norman took out his phone instantly. “Look at this photo. You’re here, very close to the person you told me you didn’t know just a few hours back,” Norman said.

Sienna glared at Norman. “You’re here to show me this?” she said and began to walk back to her station.

“He’s dead Sienna. Jacob’s dead,” Norman shouted.

Sienna stopped, slowly turned back, and walked towards Norman. “You’re kidding me?” she said.

“I wish I were. So tell me, please. I’m trying to find justice for him,” Norman said.

“I don’t know. I was drunk, and he was handsome. We had a moment there, but I instantly felt guilty. So I got out and returned to my room. I talked to my boyfriend all night on a video call and fell asleep while I was at it.
