CHAPTER NINETEEN

I FELT LIKE the turn of the ignition and my body were one. As soon as the rumble from the truck started up, my body was vibrating with restlessness. It could have been the music, the blood, the hacking, or the show of power. But I knew it all to be unlikely. The feeling inside of me was being brought to life by the man coasting down the curved highway. My body felt like live wire, every bump, every curve had my sex tensing with want. A normal person should have felt disgusted, a normal person should have ran far away at the mere thought that the man next to them had no qualms about torturing, maiming and killing another living human being. But I wasn’t normal was I?

I’d always been bored with the cushy life of spring color and soft words. That wasn’t who I was. I wanted to see things for what they really were. Dark, twisted and full of pain. The commanding tone Zander led with was enough to wet my panties. I could feel the blush creep up my face at the thought. Every move he made in that office back there was led with purpose and confidence. Something that he’d clearly done before.

I squeezed my eyes shut as I remembered the way his tall body commanded the room, effortless, ruthless, perfectly imperfect. My mind began wandering to other scenarios, would he force me down and bend me to his will like that? Would he look at me and take what he wanted from me with just a simple command? My body heated at the thought and I bit my lip. His roughness was something I craved, and I was too afraid to admit it, even to myself. I wanted to feel the way his calloused hands could dig into my skin, the stinging pain of my hair pulled back and in a fist. He was all the things he had warned me about. And I was tensing in the damn bench seat of a truck because I wanted to be touched that way. Shit, maybe I should have taken my mother’s advice and seen a therapist. My body jumped when I felt his hand snake around my waist and pull my body toward his.

“What are you doing?”

“Shh, let me.” His other hand was still on the steering wheel as he released me and placed his hand on the top of my leg. My leg gave an involuntary jolt at the direct contact of his skin. His fingers dug into my skin and ascended up my skirt. My breathing hitched as I felt the pads of his fingers dance around the apex of my thighs.

“Are you still wet baby?” His fingers took the material of my panties and pushed them to the side. Sinking one teasing finger into me he groaned, “You’re soaked. Tell me ma, why is that?”

I bit my lip, “I-I don’t….”

“Ah, Ah. You’re about to lie to me.” His single finger kept moving in and out of me, giving me only a hint of what I was looking for.
