Sara ~ March 1, 10:30 p.m.

Sara smiles as she watches Reynold’s eyes flutter open. She reaches over to remove his gag and he coughs roughly before squaring his shoulders in defiance.

“Sara, you can’t seriously believe that you are going to walk away from this,” Reynold spits out after he looks around and notices that the others are gagged and tied to chairs facing him.

“Of course I will. Am I really supposed to be afraid of a group of pathetic old men? What are you going to do? Tell me what a bad girl I’ve been? Send me off to live with Henry so he can reform me?” Sara taunts as she toys with one of her knives.

“Oh well that won’t work, seeing as I already killed Henry.” Sara looks at Reynold in mock horror as she gasps.

“By the looks on your faces, I can see that you hadn’t figured that bit out. Yes, I killed Henry, along with his wife and his darling little babies. It’s obvious that you have all seriously misjudged the level of depravity I am willing to wallow in to achieve my goals. But I aim to teach you. Yes, what is left of you will serve as a notice to the others,” Sara announces calmly as she slits Maria’s throat.

“God! Sara, think about what you’re doing!” Stephen yells. Even as a human, Sara can smell the fear that rolls off the older hunter. She wipes the bloodied knife off on Maria’s dress before heading over to the others.

“Oh, I’ve thought about it. As a matter of fact, it’s all I’ve thought about for years,” Sara answers, moving beside the older hunter.

She signals for Hugh to restrain him when he resists her putting back in his gag. But she doesn’t want him to say anything that might further raise the shifter’s suspicion.

“And now it is time that I receive my just repayments.” Sara is careful as she slits both of his wrists, letting the blood flow into the bowls she had positioned earlier. She doesn’t want to cut too deep; he needs to linger and watch his friends die for his sins.

Sara looks at the other hunters before grabbing the bowls and stepping to the side. “Now is the time you prove your loyalty. Kill them all,” Sara orders, leaving Hugh and the three new recruits to take care of the dirty work while she leaves her message for the “Alpha.”
