They made sure they were back in the suite, with the door shut, before they burst into laughter.

“You don’t know how hard it was, keeping a straight face,” Liam said, “when Junior kept hitting that switch and nothing happened.”

“Not as hard as it was for Hackney,” Joe said. “I thought he’d have a stroke right there and save us the trouble.”

“And the look on his face,” Cash said, flopping onto the couch. “I’ve never seen a white face turn quite that shade of purple.”

Yelena kicked off her heels and slid into a chair to rub her feet. “All I know is I am not wearing those shoes tomorrow.”

Joe pulled his tie off and tossed it on the coffee table, then sat and removed his shoes, too. “Tell Josh I said thanks for a nice job.”

Liam checked his watch. “You’ll get your chance. He just came off duty, I think. Should be here soon.”
