Mandaya was happy that Amoy and him were back on good terms. He was determined to make her happy and not to hurt her. It amazed him at how Amoy stayed on his mind. Just thinking about her brought emotions he hadn't experienced in years.

Love emotions had been Mandaya's enemies. He had hid them far away in an attic when his mom died. He had used them before that, but he was always at the losing end. It was his fault most of the time, always putting his career first.

After several attempts, he decided that love emotions and his work ethics did not go well together. Mandaya realized that together, they served no purpose, other than to destroy or at least so he thought until now.

Here he was, enjoying the tenderness and joy of loving. He fought it, but she was with him in thought constantly. Every new day brought anticipation and pleasure, because she was a part of it.

Talking to her, holding her hand, hugging her, were all delightful rewards. At night his soul misses her. He missed her soft and warm manner, her gentleness with others and her caressing and soft voice. Just to think of her voice, brought thrills to his senses.

Mandaya realized he could only truly be with Amoy one way. He tossed and turned nights trying to come to terms with what he had done.

Amoy didn't know at first what it was, but her body was different. Every day she noticed she was physically stronger and faster in all that she did. She was energized and often didn't even need much sleep.

Her mind flashed back to the shakes and shots that Mandaya had been giving her daily. He called it his DNA complex. "Dr Judah" she said as she walked into his office. Mandaya looked up at her and smiled. "Good morning Doctor Robinson!"

"Same to you!" she said, showing a smiling face.

"Your DNA complexes are working great!" she said smiling.

Mandaya grinned. "Great, I am glad, Just keep drinking and taking your shots." Mandaya smiled to himself, he felt happy that she was changing, the treatments were working.

She had been receiving them now for two weeks, all he wanted for her was a long life. He was her savior and had accepted it.

"How are you feeling?" Mandaya asked Amoy two weeks later.

"Great!" she replied excitedly in her voice.

"My strength is superb and my hearing is phenomenal!" She paused for a moment as if thinking about it. "I have needed little food or sleep."

"Even my brain seems to function better and faster." She continued. "Exceptional!" Mandaya said.

"Let me draw some blood and see how your body is functioning."

"Sure," Amoy replied.

Mandaya drew Amoy's blood, eager to see the results.
