Chapter 4
Misty stood at the edge of the wood, facing the wall of fog at Mawrgolâs side. The time had passed almost too quick. Though it was dreary at the times it came closer to the human world, throughout most of the days it was sunny and warm like a beautiful day in May as if she were living in a continuous spring.
Theyâd spent hours fucking whenever the desire hit at different hours of the day and in the late hours of night. The forest bloomed in a constant glorious array of color and all manner of creatures called it home, some sheâd never could have imagined, and some that passed at will between worlds. The first time she spied a mated unicorn pair sheâd been undone by wonder as she stood by Mawrgol. Then sheâd squeaked as he grabbed her and immediately bent her over the mossy side of a log, thrusting into her body that always seemed wet and ready for him within seconds of any overture.
The stallion immediately had circled the mare, his own phallus extending eagerly as he mounted her. Misty watched in surprise from where she lay belly down on the moss, Mawrgol hammering into her until her vision hazed with her own lust and she forgot all about the unicorns mating nearby. Sheâd watched as months passed as the mare swelled with foal. Sheâd last seen the family that morning leading their foal along the streams that bisected the wood around the thicket that theyâd established their home.
Mawrgol looked down at her. Sadness brimming from the glow of his eyes and his claws stroked through her hair. She gave him a watery smile as the mist gradually thinned. He leaned down and brushed his nose against the top of her head.
âThank you, my Mist. You have brought life and even unicorns which never have I seen in mine own wood. I will always keep you within me.â
His hand lightly touched his chest where a tiny flower furled out, it petals spreading before he plucked it free and tucked it into her hair.
âFollow pixies, they will show you the way.â
His hand dropped as the tiny fairy-lights surrounded them. Mistyâs eyes blurred with tears. She didnât want to leave, but this moment had hung over them and never once had he asked her to stay. Slowly she took one step and then another as the mist parted before her. Up ahead she began to make out her street. Rather than dark it was lit up with a number of jack-oâ-lanterns blazing around her with a light that was almost painful to her eyes even as the spirits shied away from it with their own laments of pain.
As the pixies retreated with a cry and Mistyâs toes stood at the edge of the mist. A cold wind swept through her from the forest behind her as if the forest was slowly dying behind her as she prepared to enter the human world to the autumnal hues and the crunch of leaves of when sheâd first entered it.
