American fascism is different from its European counterparts because ours emerges from America’s foundational ethnocidal culture. American fascism could be called Trumpism, MAGA, segregationists, Jim Crow, and many other manifestations of America’s ethnocidal culture that combine political power with domestic terrorism to oppress the ethnocidee. Europe’s fascist movements also use the mask of an authentic political party to give the guise of legitimacy as they infiltrate a nation’s government and oppress their own people. The Republican Party’s decision to acquit Trump in his second impeachment trial for sending a mob to attack the Capitol and terrorize Republican and Democrat politicians shows their commitment to sustaining America’s Ur-Fascist norm under the guise of legitimate governance. The Republican Party’s appeasement of Trump after he terrorized them equates to a dystopian commitment to ethnocide that prioritizes essence, mauvaise foi, the master-slave dialectic, and Geistmord ahead of existence. If we aspire to break the American Cycle, we must also be aware of the dangerous lengths the ethnocider will go to sustain it.

To break the American Cycle and our dependence on fascist language, we must create a culture and language for liberation and existence, and this language and culture primarily come from the ethnocidee. America’s language has long been one of erasure and obfuscation, and I was able to clearly see the American Cycle by focusing on the lives of the Americans our ethnocidal society exploited and attempted to erase. These people must speak the truth because parasitically living off of exploitation is not an option for them. Forming good-faith relationships is the foundation of their culture, and these relationships can transcend racial division. The ethnocidee must speak with clarity and not obfuscation, and throughout American history their poetry, oratory, and wisdom has inspired Americans to elevate beyond our ethnocidal norms. Giving the ethnocidee a voice reveals the true American narrative and the potential to break the American Cycle.
