If someone asks to hear ALL about a subject, they really only want to know a couple of facts, maybe an interesting bit of trivia or simply why the topic interests you. It’s another “pleasantry,” which is to say, polite expression that doesn’t really mean what it says. We Aspies LOVE our special interests. But not everyone else feels the same. So keep your “all about it” answer short—maybe four or five sentences. You can always add, “And if you ever want to know more, just ask.”
