Long term use of the product is often not necessary for “normal” animals. For routine maintenance, giving Life 5 one week out of every month is a nice suggestion. After oral administration of essential oils (especially powerful antibacterial oils) or antibiotics, giving a course of Life 5 is recommended. This can be done at the same time as the oral essential oils or antibiotics (still respecting the 2 hour rule), however administration of Life 5 should continue for at least 1 week after the oral administration of essential oil or antibiotic has stopped. Longer use is certainly fine when individual cases show the need for it.
