Like so many serial murderers, Bianchi is a pathological liar from the top of his head to his little toes. To suit himself he will deny guilt in any way he can and when the cards are stacked against him, lie repeatedly at the drop of a hat to suit the circumstances.
Up until a few years back Bianchi was still involved in appeals against his convictions for the murders of Karen Mandic and Diane Wilder, quite forgetting that he gave police details of the murders that only they and the killer could know. He also concocted a risible scenario whereby a former staff member at the Whatcom Security Agency (where he worked under the self-styled rank of ‘Captain’) conspired with Karen Mandic’s two boyfriends not only to kill the two co-eds but also to shift the blame onto him. As soon as I learned, our Ken was up to this ‘game’, which would have cost Washington State a small fortune to defend. Somewhat mysteriously, copies of all his correspondence to me found their way onto the DA’s desk. The Appeal Court subsequently threw his case out.
But what of Professor Lunde, and Doctors Watkins, Allison and Moffett? I entered into a brief correspondence with Donald Lunde, who agreed that my considerations concerning Bianchi’s psychopathology were correct.
Dr Ralph Allison is of the view that Ken is ‘Someone with an “Internalized Imaginary Companion (IIC)”.’ Allison prevails in his view that: ‘“Steve” was made by Ken’s personality as a way of getting back at his mother when she was “yelling at him at home during his youth”… it was then that Ken imagined “Steve” into being, and he became Ken’s hit man in expressing his hatred of women like his mother.’
When investigative author Christine Hart pressed Dr Allison on what an IIC was, he replied as follows:
An IIC is what is called a “Thoughtform” in para-psychological literature, or an imaginary playmate or companion in pediatric psychology. However, the pediatric doctors assumed that all imaginary companions exist outside the bodies of the children who created them. That is false, as the child can place it anywhere he wants it to be, outside sitting in a chair, inside a doll, or inside his body taking over his body to do its deeds. It is designed by the child to take care of the child’s emotional needs, whether that be to combat loneliness or to avenge some insult to the child by a hostile adult. It is made voluntarily by the child with a vivid imagination and can, therefore, be destroyed by that same child as an adult.
