Chapter Twelve: Truth or Dare?

Slow down, stop drinking.

Her mind screamed at her, begging her to have some kind of clarity regarding the way things were going, but Millie was too stubborn to listen to the warning. Especially when she knew she didn’t truly want to. Her hand darted out, snatching the bottle of alcohol from Jax before it hit the ground. Lifting it to her lips, she took a long pull from it, the liquid burning the entire way down.

If she was asked any more questions like they had been, there was no way she was going to lie about the fucked up things going down in her head at the moment. Whose idea was this game anyway? Mason had baited her into and she fell right into that trap. Dammit, Mason.

Millie growled the moment she caught sight of the naked torso exposed before her, unable to help herself. She was looking at Jax in a whole new light. Her magic itched to get back on that male and his partially naked body. Controlling her emotions was quickly becoming more and more of a struggle, and the eyes that were once edged black quickly swirled into the three different colors that hinted at her bear rising to the surface.

Oh yeah, emotions were high for all parties. Ignoring Jax for the time being, her eyes landed on Mason. He wanted her, sexually? She wasn’t laughing, and her gaze was heated as it pinned him. “At least he’s honest, guys.” Her wiggling toes stilled, but she inched closer to him.

She felt like she was all over the place right up until Julian asked for a dare. Her body stilled, knowing damn well she was going to be part of that dare.

There it was, Mason wanted Julian to kiss her.

Turning to Julian, she reached for him, hand landing on his cheek, sending out those tiny sparks of magic as she dove in and kissed him.

She. Kissed. Him.

That was supposed to be his dare.

Millie growled out against his lips, the sound purely possessive. Her male. No, her males.

Had his body created that reaction in her? That magic the moment they touched was not something Julian had felt with anyone else. This was something he craved and thankfully that female was right there giving it to him. But those eyes…his began to darken to a deeper shade of blue, the glowing silver hue indicated the fae magic taking over.

He was always the one who avoided her the most, the one that shied away from any physical contact, but he didn’t move an inch when Millie reached for him. He welcomed her hand on his cheek. His mouth opened slightly with a sigh as he felt her magic spike along his skin. That male may have been fae, but his magic was of the earth, rooted deep within him. The stuff that Jax and Mil possessed was still new to him.

When she growled against his lips, Julian’s hand rose quickly, tangling in her hair as he pulled her body towards him, the action surprising them both.
