Yarn

Fluid acrylic paints

Brush

2 pieces of cardstock

Heavy book

Newsprint or wax paper

Dip yarn into fluid acrylic paint and poke it around with a brush to cover it completely: you want the yarn to be covered in paint, but not dripping. Scrape or squeeze off any excess paint.

Place one piece of cardstock in between the pages of a heavy book. Protect the pages with newsprint or wax paper. Pop the yarn on the cardstock, leaving the tail hanging off the side.
