Dear Martha, How’s it going? I’m here the hospital. I feel that I’ve been making progress in talking to others about myself and what I feel. There’s a lot of changes going on at home--Mom and Dad are getting it together so, Mom worries, I think, about not living up to Grandmother’s expectations. But everything else is going well. I’m going to another hospital that’s cheaper and more like an institution. There may be some harsh rules but I think I’ll be able to be more of my own person with a lot of peer group orientation. SEA. (School for Educational Alternatives) needs sensitivity and self-awareness programs. I have no idea what career I’ll find myself in in the future. I guess I have to get the school thing more together, that’s what I’ll be doing at this new place.

Well, you’re probably at somewhat the same place, in that many things happening to you cause you to look at yourself. I hope you’re very happy. Martha, really I care about you and the rest of the family. I hope you will surface well now cause everyone else is. I know the family seems all falling apart but that’s not true now.

Anyway--what about you? Write soon, okay?

Much dear love,

Sister Mary Kathryn
