Instructions

This is a very simple design comprising 2 lengths of split cane (you can substitute hardwood dowel if split cane is not available) joined by a length of cord which is inserted into an alloy spreader block to form a triangular landing net.

The first stage is to prepare the split cane arms to take the brass pipe nipples (you can substitute any similar connection, such as brake cable ends) which will retain the cord at the thinner ends of the cane, and the brass tubes or ferrules which will be inserted into the spreader block.
