IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME

For the next two years, my primary labor was to work to help build a functional theater program. The first problem I had was that there were not that many people on campus who had experience doing theater, or even liked theater. So I worked to build a touring theater company. I called it Acts 2, after a verse in the Bible. There was a lot of hard work that year, but it was the start of something. The real thing that would shape the next years of my life was the team of individuals who I recruited to build up the theater program. I assembled a motley crew of theater people. I built my own Avengers. We affectionately called ourselves Theater Central.
