The first week that Reagan and I were together, she told me she loves rockstar romance, and I've never forgotten.

True, I haven't played for anyone since me and Piper broke up...but I've been working on something. I wanted to write a song for Reagan, and now is the perfect time to play it for her.

I take a deep breath and strum the first chords of the song. The melody is gentle and soothing, yet powerful enough to express the intensity of my feelings for Reagan. As I sing the first verse, I see her eyes light up with joy and admiration. I know I'm on the right track.

The chorus is a mixture of passion and devotion, the perfect reflection of what I feel for Reagan. She listens intently, her gaze fixed on me, her smile brightening with each passing moment. I know I have her attention, and I want to keep it for as long as I can.

As I play the guitar solo, I feel my heart racing with excitement. This is it, the moment I've been waiting for. The moment to show Reagan just how much she means to me. As the song reaches its climax, I pour my soul into each note, each word, each gesture.

Because I'm trying to tell her without going too far...trying to tell him I'm falling in love with her.

Just like that.

Because Fern Hollow is a great place to fall in love.

I can see it in her face as the song winds down, the way we feel about each other. Since I saw her across the street from the diner, I've known.

Reagan is the one for me.

I finish the song and Reagan jumps up, clapping her hands, tears in her eyes. I know then that I've done something right. I take her in my arms and hold her tightly, feeling her warmth against my chest. We stay like that for a while, just standing there in each other's embrace, lost in the moment.

Finally, Reagan pulls back, her eyes still shining with tears. "That was beautiful, Caleb," she whispers. "I never knew you could play like that."

I smile at her, feeling my heart swell with joy. "I wanted to do something special for you," I say. "Something that would show you how much I care."

Reagan leans in and kisses me softly on the lips. "I know how much you care," she says. "And I feel the same way."

We spend the rest of the night chatting with the family, everyone now fully aware that Piper is the past - that Reagan is the future. I talked to Jesse and Sadie about this a few days ago, but I think I'm going to permanently relocate.

Fern Hollow is my new home.

Reagan is my home.

Claire and Grayson take off around ten, wishing us goodnight and telling us to have fun. And we do.

Reagan and I talk and laugh, sharing stories and dreams. We drink wine and eat snacks, enjoying each other's company. The more time we spend together, the more I realize how perfect we are for each other.
