It takes a lot of shooting to empty a magazine such as this.

SIG Sauer

Another handgun-to-SBR conversion system, the ACP (Adaptable Carbine Platform) is not just a SIG handgun system. The engineers were clever enough to make it adaptable to any handgun, within limits. You will, however, have to have a Glock (this is a Glock book, after all) with an accessory rail on it. That means the SIG ACP will not work for a first or second generation Glock, as only the third and Gen4 models with these rails will work.

The SIG ACP uses an adapter block that locks onto the accessory rail, which in turn slides into and is locked to the ACP. The back plate of the ACP has fitting plates, which allow it to accommodate the tang of various handguns, curved or flat. For Glocks, use the flat. The assembly of this, since it is adaptable to many handguns, can be a bit fussy and require a bit of range time trial and error. But, once done, you have your Glock encased. And unlike the FAB Defense adapter, which requires your Glock be an SBR in order to be kosher, SIG makes its ACP in two flavors. There is the ACP and the ACP-LE. The ACP lacks a stock, while the ACP-LE has a folding stock.
