My hands were on her hips. I pulled her so close, her ass was rubbing against me. I could feel this throbbing all over my body, but it settled between my legs. I was so drawn to her; it was as if I no longer had free will.
My fingers traced the outline of a tattoo on her upper left arm; it was a puzzle piece that had something written inside. The words appeared to be Italian. I touched every stroke and burned every color into my mind. I had to remember âti troveroâ because I felt like it could be a clue to who she was.
Touching her affected me in ways Iâd never experienced, but I needed to see her. I spun her around and looked at her face-to-face. My breath hitched. My God, she was stunning with her blue-gray eyes and gorgeous smile. That moment changed me. I never knew something was missing in my life until I finally saw her and felt whole. I searched every part of her face, trying to decipher if I recognized her and why she was taking over my thoughts. She smiled at me, and I saw the world in a different light. My hands took on a life of their own. I ran them through her wild hair like I had longed to do since that first dream. I couldnât get close enough; I wanted to lose myself in her. We were so in sync she knew which way my body was going to move before my mind could even decide. She twirled me around as if letting me know she was in charge, and she wrapped her arms around me from behind like she was claiming me. If I was dead right now, this was heaven. Then the music stopped.
The room changed. I was no longer on a dance floor, but I wasnât sure where I was. To my right, there were stables with horses in them. When I looked outside, through the enormous doors, chickens clucking around and cows were out in the pasture. What was going on? Why am I on a farm?
I felt a tug on my heartstrings. I knew she was here, but where? I walked out of the barn and saw someone wearing in a bonnet and gingham-style dress, feeding some cats. It wasnât her, but it was as though a magnetic force was bringing me to her. She twisted around, and her expression was full of joy and excitement, and when I looked into her eyes, my heart fluttered, and I knew who she was. But what was going on? Why was she so different? Gone were her full lips and dimples, but in its place was still a heart-stopping smile.
I searched my own body and noticed my mocha skin was now more sun-kissed but definitely white. I touched my head, and I had on a bonnet as well. Running my hands under the hat, I felt my hair; it was straight and fine, nothing like my normal mane.
