At star level 1 the influencer will increase by a further 50%. The increase in Star Level from 0 to 1 costs 150,000 elixir.

Connor discounted the siege attack boost. Edward had few if any of the machines. He equipped the other three army boosts, but his thoughts then settled back on the personal defense one. That boost was huge. His current personal defense was only twenty. If he enhanced the influencer, that would jump to just under one hundred.

It was tempting, given the cloud looming over his right shoulder.

Yosaku faced a different dilemma. “I have five influencers and three shields. Enhance sword strike, enhance sword parry, counter stab, rogue zone and many-bladed man. I want them all.”

“What’s many-bladed man?”

“Don’t have the skill yet, so it’s no good to me.”

“Okay, but what does it do?” Connor asked. Yosaku has all the cool skills…

“Duplicates your sword and fights more than one enemy. I’ve been hunting for it like the diamonds, but as yet, no dice.”

“Perhaps we need to follow one of your paths,” Connor said.

“If I had one, I wouldn’t tell you. We have enough to do.”

Yosaku kicked her horse forward, following Rocky’s grunting noises before bringing the dragon back to the column. Rocky was now the size of a small horse but built like a rhino. Chantico glided overhead; her shadow stole the sunlight.

Connor allocated Chantico’s points.
