After the first drink, I put some music on. Nothing special, just some classic rock. After the second drink, we were singing along loudly and dancing around my office to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.” As the song ended, she collapsed against my desk giggling. I could feel her body next to mine as we leaned against the old oak desk and caught our breath.

It happened suddenly and I couldn’t stop myself; I reached over and pulled her toward me and kissed her. It was magical. You know how generally a first kiss isn’t always great because you’re still getting to know each other? Well, this kiss was perfect in every way. My only concern was that she wouldn’t kiss me back.
