Sometimes, doing the right thing is difficult. I don’t want to give up the little bit of control I have, but she’s not a prisoner, she’s a victim. If she declines FBI protection, I’m pulled off of this case. Besides, the DOJ has every intention of taking over this case. She steps out of her grandmother’s room and Agosto goes in. At this moment, I want to take her in my arms and tell her everything is going to be okay. I’ll make it okay for her. Instead, she pulls Jessica aside to let her know what the plan is, a plan I’m not a part of. At this point, the only thing I can do is let her go.

“Luca, is there someone at the FBI I need to talk to about this?”

“I can take care of it. However, the DOJ was coming over today and, like I said earlier, they will probably want to take over the case.”

“Jess, where did Geno and Gianni go?”

“They said they were going to get everything ready at their house. So, is it true that we are moving, Chelle?”

“It’s the only way we can all be safe. Once everything blows over, we can move back. In the meantime, I filled out the paperwork here for Grandma’s move. Agosto said he is going to handle all of her stuff moved. So, the only thing left is to pack up some stuff and grab all of Gustavo’s stuff, including his favorite bed. That cat probably has more stuff than I do.” While Chelle is giving out orders, which seems to be her way of keeping calm, I’ve inched my way closer to Robert. With his back turned, I still can’t hear anything he is saying.
