Chapter 8
Faye
Youâre dripping like a saturated sunrise. Youâre spilling like an overflowing sink. â Halsey, âColorsâ
Sex changes everything.
I knew it would. I mean, people always say that it does, but itâs something you canât really understand until you experience it.
Nothing is the same after my first time with Finn.
First night? First day? First eternity? I lost track of time. After our first time on the floor of his basement, he carried me to bed and we fucked and made love all night long. We chased the sun down and the moon across the sky, stopping only to eat and drink.
My anatomy class the next day is my favorite, but I canât bring myself to concentrate on anything the professor is talking about. My brain is stuck on repeat, flashing back to images from the day before.
Finn, sweat dripping off of him, the lines of his perfect body glistening as he grips my hair in one hand and my ass in the other, slamming into me from behind.
A crash and a thud bring me back to reality, and it takes me a second to realize I leaned on my elbow so hard I slid across my desk and knocked my book off.
âMiss Morrison, are you feeling ok? You look feverish.â Mrs. Biondy asks, concern writ large on her matronly face.
Iâve got a fever. Dick fever. And the only cure is more dick.
âIâm alright, professor. Iâll just run to the bathroom quickly.â I smile at her, standing up, leaving everything in disarray as I flee the classroom.
Part of me doesnât want to go back, but instead call Finn and have him come pick me up. Or maybe just join me in the bathroom, up against the wall of the stall, his big hands holding me up by my ass as he slams that gorgeous cock into me, right where it belongs.
âHey, cupcake.â
The voice comes from right behind me. I whirl, my hand instinctively going for my bag. My bag with the pepper spray. My bag with my phone, to call Finn with.
My bag that I left on my desk.
âYour bodyguard ainât big into anatomy, huh? Well, thatâs ok. Iâm a big fan of yours.â Hunter grins lecherously at me.
Itâs so different from the way Finn looks at me. Finn makes me feel beautiful. Hunter just makes me feel like I need a shower. Like Iâve bathed in pond scum mixed with motor oil.
âYeah, well, heâs around. Heâll be here soon, so unless you want to get your ass kicked again you better get out of here.â I tilt my chin up, making myself meet his eyes. I wonât show any fear to this asshole, not even for one second.
âNah. Tonight is different. Tonight, Iâm sober. Tonight, Iâm not going to take no for an answer.â
I could scream, but the walls are thick. I can barely hear the drone of my professor through the thick door, which means theyâd barely hear me.
Instead, I save my breath for something more important and turn to run.
