5 Once you’re happy with the position of the painting on the board, take a paper towel that’s slightly larger than your painting and place it on top. Take a brayer and roll over the top of the paper towel from the center out to the edges. This will help the paper bond well to the board.
6 Flip the painting facedown on a clean surface. Take a damp paper towel and run it along the bottom edge to clean up any gel that’s dribbled during the braying process. Keep your painting facedown and apply pressure to the back by stacking large books or something heavy on top for about 24 hours.
