It was just another day for John, when he was feeling very sleepy and he had to rush to college. His alarm did ring, which he put off and went back to sleep. When his mom arrived and gave him a shout, “John, what are you doing? Arrey, you’ re sleeping… Have you gone crazy? See the time..its nine. John. Till John was up, he rubs his eyes, he looks at his mom and the clock… one by one. Shouting., “ooh mom, my communication class was at 8:30. O shit! Why didn’t you wake me up..?” “Ooo nuts! I came here twice and you were sleeping. And what about the alarm? It could not have awakened you as well. How careless! Now you rush! And attend your other classes well.”

“Yup mom! I’m really sorry.”

“it’s cool dear. Now rush.”

John hurriedly reaches his college where he catches up with his pal., staring at him. He utters, “You are late even today. Just go and meet professor Siddiqui. He wishes to see you…

“Oh! “John was scared.

As soon as John enters the classroom. “Mr. John, come, come. Welcome. We all were waiting for you… only. We were waiting for the class to begin.

”Prof Siddiqui was one punctual chap, whose class ought not to be missed! “Anyways, so Mr John you are invited to teach us., come on, enlighten us.”

“I’m sorry sir, I’m late….”

“What late? What were you doing up all night? Talking to your girlfriend? Or preparing notes for today’s class?”

“No sir! Sleeping.”

Hhehereeeeeheee.. .whole class.

“Shut up! If you guys sleep for good eight hrs… what will you guys do in your life?”

And the professor gives John a question… to which he answers correctly. “That’s alright dear. Go and be seated. And never repeat it.”

“Yes sir”, came the good old reply.

“Thanks buddy”, John turned to his pal who had helped him hinting stealthily in the answers, which let him carry on the day.

“Thank God! Now I can sleep peacefully…”
