But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. As I have mentioned before, Israel's sin was that of not praying. Even though they met all the requirements of the law and had all of God's promises, they did not exercise the right, privilege, and function of prayer. Therefore, they suffered the consequences. But it didn't have to be that way. They could have enjoyed the manifestation of God's promises if they had come to Him in prayer.

Remember that when you come to God, you are coming to the most powerful Being in the universe. And when He begins to use His power against your problems, they must do one of two things: bend or break.
