Step 10

Hot glue each dart holder to one side of the triangle blowpipe, preferably in the middle of the blowpipe. Prior to attaching the holders, make sure the straw is elevated away from the blowpipe frame to allow for blow dart clearance.

Step 11

Fasten the skewer darts to the attached holders by inserting the dart tip until the conical fletch wedges into the straw, creating enough pressure to hold each dart in place.

To fire, load one of the darts into the entrance of the blowgun, skewer point first. Push it past the safety mouthpiece to secure it in the barrel. Now take a deep breath, lift the blowgun to your lips, aim, and exhale sharply to blow the dart out.

It is very important to remember that you’re firing darts from your mouth. You should never inhale while the blowgun is in your mouth waiting to be launched. Always be responsible and fire the blowgun in a controlled manner. Wearing eye protection is a must, as is staying clear of spectators. Firepower is limited by your respiratory muscles, and accuracy is limited by the blowgun’s length.
