Locating Sunny’s GreenFingers bait shop out back hadn’t been a problem since most of her customers showed up on Friday or Saturday. If any found the ‘just buzz’ sign on the door during the week, they knew that pushing the button would summon her from Leighton House. Ellen’s shop, Mélange, was the only one of the ventures with regular hours. All the other shops or services were more or less by appointment or had limited hours, so the Ladybugs covered for each other. Since Ellen’s customers might drop in, the Ladybugs made sure someone was always there.

So many things came up during the planning stages of the festival that Libba decided to take advantage of the nook just outside the door to the shop by placing a small table and four chairs there so Ellen could join them yet watch the shop entrance at the same time. Impromptu meetings were the rule rather than the exception as it got closer to the festival date.
