Options: The Sky Country History Circuit loop intersects many other trails and allows hikers limitless opportunities to shorten or extend their excursion at Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park. For this, you will need an area-wide map (see above). Nonâhistory buffs who like waterfalls can create their own 8-mile loop to see Doughty Falls, Coal Creek Falls, and Far Country Falls. As well, with a car shuttle hikers can end their trip at the Harvey Manning Trailhead. To reach this trailhead, after passing the turnoff on 166th Way SE to Sky Country Trailhead, continue east on SE Cougar Mountain Drive / 168th Place SE for 1.7 miles to the end of the road.
