More Progress: The Latent Heat

The Holness group advanced to a further discussion of “A textural record of solidification and cooling in the Skaergaard Intrusion, East Greenland” in the Journal of Petrology (2007). In this study, we paid attention to the fractional latent heat of crystallizing magmas, which led to a much longer treatment of that subject by this author. It appears sufficient and appropriate here to present the abstract.
