Matt was relieved when John’s call came.

“Hey man, what’s going on? You had me worried. Did you have to break out of jail?”

“Ahhh, sort of. Let’s just say we won’t be getting any help from my special forces friends. We need to meet up. We can discuss the details then. Where are you?”

“Neung’s guys have me stashed in a safehouse somewhere in town. On the north side. I’m not quite sure exactly where.”

“Well I don’t want to involve them any further. I’ve talked to Neung and he has given me some new information. We’ll keep him out of this. His political exposure is way too high already. Have his guys get your 4Runner. I’ll send you the coordinates where we should meet.”

“Okay but one thing you should know something came up in Bangkok and Jade had to go back and deal with it. For right now it’s just you and me.”

“Well we’ll have to get along without her though she has some skills we could use. Right now we need to find some friends here and make some plans quick. I think we may be running out of time with regard to this mad monk.”

“Okay. I’m on my way.”
