“Have a seat,” President Sanders said.

“Thank you, sir.”

“I have to say this doesn’t get easier.”

“No, it doesn’t.”

“How’s the case going?” President Sanders questioned.

“Slow.” Teagan clasped her hands together.

“Tell me the truth, are we going to make an arrest?”

“Honestly, I don’t know. This seems to be more than one person.”

“I agree with Agent Stone, sir,” Spider commented.

“Agent Stone, your face has become the front and center of The Firm.”

“I know.”

“The Agency was built to weed out people who are trying to bring down our country’s value.”

“Yes, sir.”

“Along the way, you’ve had to constantly fight adversaries not only foreign, but domestic.”

“What are you saying, sir?”

“Maybe it’s time we saw this as an opportunity to end The Firm.”

This was the moment she’d been hoping for when they brought her back in to go undercover, and now she didn’t know how to feel. Knocking on the door, she entered with the chief of staff and Secretary Kelton.

“Mr. President, you have another meeting,” he said.

“Thanks, Teagan. Go answer the questions, this shouldn’t last long,” President Sanders spoke. Teagan and Spider nodded, shaking hands with President Sanders, treading out of his office, and passing Kelton.
