A Tool for the Carpenter

One of my husband’s best friends, whose passion was to share God’s love, passed away recently. He left his mark on my husband. Since then, Mike has felt led more strongly than ever to be a bold witness in sharing his faith. He prays daily for God to bring the lost into his path.

One such occasion was a Sunday morning, before Mike left to sing in the choir. During a rest period in the last service, Mike sat outside. A young Middle Eastern boy, carrying a backpack, walked on campus and sat down right next to Mike.

“Hey, do you know anything about this church?” the young man asked.

“I sure do,” Mike replied. “What would you like to know?”

As they talked, Mike was able to share God’s love and plan for salvation. The young man couldn’t have been more eager. And Mike thought that God’s timing, once again, couldn’t have been more perfect.

If you make yourself available, it’s amazing how God will include you in His plans.
