Can Yogi Adityanath Play a National Role?

It is fascinating that an ascetic has become a politician. He rules an Indian state and probably can even show significance at the national level.

Yogi Adityanath has a very powerful horoscope. How powerful? If I have to offer a comparison, I would compare his chart to the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s. The strengths of both their horoscopes are similar and their important planets, connected to politics, are in the same positions. Yogi Adityanath’s spiritual connection comes from Planet-Y in exaltation in his ninth house. The most powerful planets in his horoscope are Pluto and Uranus. Together they form a power centre. Uranus is his seventh lord and its exaltation, together with Pluto, the fourth lord of influence in the motherland, shows why he went beyond spirituality.

Yogi’s best times will come in the 2030s, when his Uranus gets exalted in his eleventh house. The eleventh house stands for the later part of life. This means Yogi could be influential even in his fifties. Could this period be when he attains a position of national importance?

After the 1964–1967 patch, the 1970–1972 patch assumes higher significance with respect to powerful political leaders. There could be a prime minister emerging from this patch. It is too early to say if Yogi can go on to be a prime minister as leaders in the opposition, who aren’t visible right now, may emerge in the next few years as competition. But, looking at the strength of just his horoscope, we cannot rule out that possibility.

Let us examine the possible competitors to Yogi. Priyanka Gandhi will have her Uranus exalted in the first house in 2031– 2038, which means that there could be a personal elevation in her life. One hurdle for Priyanka is her fourth lord, and for Yogi, it is his seventh lord. The seventh lord symbolises being elected, and the fourth lord means being influential in your motherland. For a politician, the seventh house is a much better option—like Trudeau again. The associated political team that each leader has, is crucial to who forms a government. If Priyanka manages to groom a set of younger leaders and has a good team in place, it seems the elections in the 2030s will produce a really nail-biting finish.

Many more younger players will be visible in due course and may need to be considered in the forecasts. Some players in the fray, at this point, include Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sachin Pilot, Devendra Fadnavis and Akhilesh Yadav. Among them, only Sachin Pilot doesn’t have a strong horoscope to make him a prime ministerial candidate, unlike the others.

It is safe to conclude that Yogi does have a great chance to achieve the highest office. But we will talk more about this in the future. It looks like the 2030s will be a very interesting time in Indian politics.
