I started with red blended with water to make gradience from red to pink on each petal. I blush water only within each petal’s area. Notice that I leave empty gap between each detail. This gap must be absolutely dry.

Continue with other colors in other details. You can blend or mix more than one color, just make sure that you do it in each own area and not let water cross the gap. To do this, use only little water, only enough to blend.

Continue the same thing with leaves. Notice that I did it less defined around the edges. When the edges are somewhat blurry and the main objects in the middle are well defined and sharp, it leads focus to the main part.
