So, is it so easy to reprogram our bodies to deal with psychological stress? Our bodies have been accustomed over a long time to react to stress as if there is an imminent bodily danger ahead. However, if the source of stress is psychological, then the approach to stress has to be different, too. Most of the stress we experience is due to the way we think about the problem. If the way we think about it makes us feel miserable, then we will need to make some adjustments in our minds. Our goal is to change the way we FEEL about it. And this starts by changing the way we THINK about it.

However, when you face stressful situations, by even applying this appropriate strategy, you might not experience a sudden relief. So why not? Because it takes some time to reprogram your pattern of thought. But you can and will succeed quicker than you might think. In this situation in which stress is not resolved, the body's reaction to it is a rise of tension.

As tension is to be considered as a conglomerate of energy the way to fight the disastrous effects of stress on the body is by releasing this excess baggage of energy. Exercises and massage therapy work in a tremendous way to get rid of this unhealthy energy.
