âDâ is an example of perspective found on large ships. A ship drawing will be better if on first practice one sets the ship firmly in the water. Only a slight perspective is necessary, and the bottom line touching the water is sufficient. Note how the line runs upward. Always take your position for sketching in a place that offers a view of the best lines.
âEâ is an exaggerated wave perspective given to show that such perspective exists. As waves recede into the distance, one perceives them as straight lines only. âFâ is an example of bird perspective.
