Mars has been in your 4th house of home and family – in stressful aspect to you – since September 14. It will be there until the 26th of the month ahead. Often this shows repairs, renovations or construction going on in the home. If you need to do these things, this is a good period now. Passions are high at home. There can be conflict with family members. Family members have dramatic kinds of experiences, perhaps near-death experiences or surgery (which is considered a near-death experience in astrology). Do your best to make the home safer this period. There is a tendency to accidents in the home. Emotionally, a lot of old baggage is coming up for cleansing.

The main headline this month is the two eclipses which happen. This guarantees a tumultuous kind of month.

The Lunar Eclipse of the 8th occurs in your 8th house. This shows many things. There are encounters with death (generally on a psychological level), sometimes near-death kinds of experiences and sometimes surgery is recommended. (But health is good, so get a second opinion.) Uranus, your planet of health and work, is affected by this eclipse, so there can be health scares and job changes. The conditions of the work place change. If you employ others there is instability with them, often due to dramas in their personal lives. Pluto is affected too, but not so directly. Thus cars and communication equipment get tested. It will be a good idea to drive more defensively during this eclipse period. There are dramas with siblings, sibling figures and neighbours. A nice, easy, relaxed schedule is called for, for a few days before and after the eclipse. Every Lunar Eclipse tests friendships. Often there are dramatic, life-changing kinds of events in the lives of friends.

The Solar Eclipse of the 23rd occurs in your 3rd house of communication. As with the Lunar Eclipse this will further test your car and communication equipment. Stay alert and drive safely. Students might change schools or educational plans. There are shake-ups in the schools they attend. Every Solar Eclipse also brings spiritual change – change of attitude, perspective and practice. It is good to upgrade your spiritual practice periodically and the eclipse provides the opportunity.

The other headline this month is the power in the money house. Nearly half of the planets are either there or moving through there. It’s a prosperous kind of month.

In spite of possible health scares, as we’ve said, health is basically good.
