5. Drill through the wood at four marks. Repeat the same process to mark up and drill the fourth leg assembly.

6. Now you’re ready to attach the legs to the benchtop: a.Set one of the four legs on top of the MDF benchtop. Make sure that the glue joint on the leg is on the shorter side of the bench. This way, you won’t see the glue joint from the front.

b.Clamp the leg to the frame.

c.Chuck your drill with a #2 Phillips screwdriver bit. Use the drill to drive two 11⁄4-inch drywall screws through the holes you drilled in the leg and into the benchtop frame.

d.Unclamp, then repeat the same process to attach the other three legs.
