The Doctor’s Wife

Would love be enough to keep their happy ending, or would love help them seek and live the painful truth?

“I love the beach!” She exclaims gladly.

She buries her toes in the powdery, white sand. She beams excitedly at her husband and places kisses on her toddler's chubby cheeks.

They are in the Bahamas for a month-long, well-deserved vacation. Her husband, a young and ambitious brain surgeon, has been working with a pharmaceutical company to create a wonder drug to cure brain tumors. Money comes into their household from then on—plenty of money. Her husband has always been very smart, even during his school days, and that probably attracts her toward him. His popularity because of his intelligence reflects on her as well.

She, on the other hand, has always been the prettiest in the room. Long, dark hair with a fair complexion, large breasts, small waist, and toned hips have always been the marks of a beautiful woman. Getting married to an ambitious, young, and intelligent man completes her entire package as she spoils herself with luxury from the money he makes. After getting pregnant and giving birth, she immediately consults cosmetic surgeons to put her back into her pre-pregnancy physique—money not being an issue, really.

While her husband devotes his time to researching and experimenting on the wonder drug, she spends her time shopping and being pampered, leaving her toddler to the babysitters. She thinks she has to remain pretty so that by the time her husband gets an international award for the wonder drug he is working on, she will be with him on the stage, and everyone will think she is beautiful.

She lets her toddler play in the sand while both the husband and the wife share one beach chair and drink their piña colada. They kiss torridly without a care in the world how she loves the feeling of being wanted and loved.

Their butler calls them as their dinner is served. “Enjoy your food while it is hot, masters.”

She carries her child and walks hand in hand with her husband towards the dinner table. The cool night breeze sends good chills down her spine, and the wind blows through her dark hair softly. She giggles and cuddles her child. Her husband pulls a chair for her while their butler gets a child’s seat. She gives her husband a peck on the lips as he gently puts a napkin on her lap. He smiles sweetly at her.

They eat their meal peacefully and walk leisurely towards their room to freshen up and get ready for bed. She gives her toddler to the babysitter.

She steps on the cold, tiled floor of the bathroom and sets the shower to steam. As she is soaping herself, she feels someone enter the glass divider. She looks behind, anticipating her husband to join in. He presses his lips on her shoulder as his hands wander off around her beautiful, curvy body. She faces him and catches his lips. She sucks on his tongue and sucks harder as she hears her husband moan softly.
