Jerrek holds the mane of his majestic horse tightly with one hand, other arm wrapped around my midsection as we continue to ride, leaving the dream fae realm behind as we gallop through nothing but sky.

My heart is still racing from the leap. From the sights we’ve seen, awe-inspiring and magical. From being on my unicorn. From eating next to the most gorgeous man in the world.

And now, as the horse rides at a steady rhythm, rocking his hips behind mine and pressing his hard, muscular chest into my back, it’s starting to race for other reasons as well.

The clouds we ride on continue to extend forward in front of us, like Jerrek is making them appear there, even as the purple sky starts to drift into the colors of space around us.

“Where are we now?” I ask. His bicep is brushing my left breast, hand wrapped around me keeping me deliciously close to his sexy body.

“The empty space that separates our dream dimension from all others.” As the sky dissipates, I can see millions of stars and galaxies off in the distance start to come into view, indeterminably far away and sparkling with different colors. “My power is strong enough to keep us going as far as we want.”

He leans over my shoulder, and I look up at him, his deep maroon eyes smiling every time I meet his gaze.

The only place I want to be right now is with him.

Alone.

I’m already inclining my head upward in anticipation as he comes lower, mouth crashing over mine in a hot, dominant kiss. I can’t help my reaction to him as I moan against him, his tongue already expertly moving inside my mouth and making my entire body warm and sensitive.

And as he deepens it, his free hand cups my breast, squeezing it and pushing me even deeper into his muscular frame, our two bodies melded together.

He pulls away, leaving me breathless, eyes now full of that wicked glint that send a thrill of excitement moving down my spine like a spark.

“Should I take us back to the privacy of the palace?” He kisses my ear, then my neck, and I’m helpless to go anywhere except deeper into his soft, full lips, wherever they go. “Or maybe I’ll just use the privacy we have right here.” The way he says the last part, like an oath uttered in that husky tone, makes my insides melt.

The horse continues to move, and I feel his long, firm length pressing into my lower back. I nod up at him, desperate for more of Jerrek. More of his possessive, overwhelming side that is most clear in these moments between just the two of us.

I feel both of his hands on my chest now, thumbs torturing my sensitive nipples, big palms and long fingers deftly pleasuring me senseless. He hits a particularly good spot, and I arch against him, head rolling onto his shoulder as he takes my lips again, more fiercely this time.
