Blurred in the daily clouds of thought,
The ceaseless mind runs with the impression
That he is the master of the self.
Spinning and flipping with thoughts,
The indecent conception is formed that indeed he is in charge.
Therefore the mind is muddled,
With the individual drowning in his thoughts.
But he who knows the secrets of nature
Knows the mind is nothing but a restless river,
Untamed and wild,
Longing to pour into the channel of the ultimate sea.
The nature of the mindâ
Tempestuous and coarseâ
Must be broken into,
Reclaiming an illusion
From the guardians of our own inner beasts.
Thus the light within our cores
At liberty will ignite our opaque thoughts
Within the field of awakening and rest upon the
pinnacle as the master of the self.
