“I’m scared. The soldiers are already there. How could they have figured out the coordinates of Coba and Dot before we did?” cried Astra, referring to Cubbie by his Baltarian nickname, short for Cobalt.

“All the negativity surrounding Coba and Dot blocks our communication with them and makes the soldiers stronger,” declared Wiseman 45, in a panic.

“How can we help them from here?” implored Astra.

“We need to warn them as soon as possible,” insisted Wiseman 45.

“Come! I want to show you something,” Cubbie urged the boys while sprinkling a little magic dust. The boys concentrated with Cubbie, and as a blue bubble appeared they stepped in and flew over a building that Cubbie wanted them to see.

“What is that building?” asked Brian.

“It’s the Braille Institute—a special school where people like Mike learn to read!” said Cubbie.

“What do you mean? Mike looks normal,” protested Derek.

“He is normal. He’s just blind. And I’m sure he can use friends to help him get oriented in this new city,” said Cubbie.
