Give Me a Break!

I broke my arm and got a cast.

And when I went to school,

all my friends were quite impressed.

They thought my cast was cool.

The whole class signed it, everyone,

and most of them were nice.

Jenny wrote, “Get better soon,”

and “Awesome dude!” wrote Brice.

Andrea wrote, “U-R-Neat!”

and Josh wrote, “Way to go!”

Everyone wrote something good,

except for Betty Jo.

In bright red ink she wrote real big,

“TO JONATHAN THE PEST.”

But I changed the P into a B.

I guess that makes me BEST.
