Navigation Bars

Web apps comprise a navigation bar, which enables a user to scheme through the app. This chapter demonstrates examples of properly constructing a top navigation bar and side navigation bar. Initially, it constructs a top navigation bar with icons embedded in it.

Top Navigation Bar

The top navigation bar in this chapter comprises three navigation items: alerts and notifications (which routes a user to the “alerts and notification” page), message (routing a user to the inbox), and profile (releasing a drop-down menu comprising items like Edit Profile, Account Settings, Billing, and Sign Out; each item has its own link). Besides that, it comprises a toggle to hide and unhide the side navigation bar.
