Chapter 9

The two women took me into a cavernous space. Floor to ceiling windows filling one wall, while the other side was occupied by several hundred oddly shaped desks. At them, sat Trillaxians with every color of hair imaginable, men and women. Other than their differently colored hair, they all had such similar features, it was eerie.

The other odd thing was that none of them would look up from their desks. I still had yet to see a single pair of Trillaxian eyes and was beginning to get annoyed at the behavior. As a human, it’s hard to trust people that won’t look you in the eyes. I said nothing though as the pair took me up a flight of wide curving stairs to a lift. They remained silent, eyes downcast as the circular platform rose, lifting us through empty space.

The elevator took us through the ceiling, and I found myself on the top floor of this tower. The walls were slanted in, the peak a diamond shape and all in glass, giving an unobstructed view of everything that surrounded the tower.

The ample space was furnished as part office, part living quarters. With a bubbling and steaming tub in one corner that looked more like a pool. A woman reclined on a divan; a wide assortment of food laid out before her on a table. The whole image was designed to awe me and was doing an excellent job of it.

Especially the woman. She looked much like the others had in shape and form, but she wasn’t an exact copy as the others seemed to be. She was taller, evident even as she lay down, probably only an inch or two shorter than me. Her long slender legs were bare, the pale skin running all the way up to where a tiny skirt covered the top few inches of thighs. Her top was a loose and flowing material, nearly transparent, that showed off her perfect large breasts, capped in soft purple nipples. The face was more finely featured, and her eyes alighted on mine, sending a shiver through me. They were emerald green, matching her golden hair perfectly, with no pupil or iris, and had a gemlike quality to them, that sparkled in the white sunlight.

When her gaze fell on me, the woman began to heave deep breaths, and her soft purple nipples grew hard, their color changing to the palest pink. She bit her bottom lip and scooted her hips down into the divan, thighs parting slightly, almost invitingly.
