Wheat flour: ½ cup

Clarified butter or oil: 2 tbsps

Chopped onions: 2

Ginger paste: 2 tsp

Garlic: 10 flakes

Masala powder: 1 tsp

Coriander powder: 1 tsp

Method:

Boil the Sarson ka saag with spinach in hot water and add salt and jiggery to it. Make a nice fine paste of the ingredients. Keep it on flame to warm it and add some wheat flour to stir it regularly. Heat butter in a crock pot separately and add chopped onions till it turns golden brown. Add garlic, ginger, masala powder, coriander powder and mix well with all the ingredients. Place the gravy separately in a bowl. Cook the saag completely and mix the ingredients with the paste of saag and spinach. Let it get cooked in the steam and then garnish with butter and serve with roti.
