I took a seat on the bar stool and watched as Amara wound her way around my kitchen to finish up dinner. She’d insisted on coming over and making dinner after the apparently amazing date that I’d taken her on yesterday.

What she didn’t know was that if she chose me after all this was said and done, she’d get many more date nights like that. I’d continue to woo her until the end of our days. I’d always love her deeply and take care of her.

“Done!” she exclaimed. I watched as she grabbed two plates and put spaghetti on each one. My stomach rumbled. I’d come in while she was cooking, so I had no idea what she’d been making. And I hadn’t wanted to disturb her.

“My favorite,” I murmured, which wasn’t a lie. I pulled her to me when she set my plate in front of me and softly kissed her, letting my tongue touch hers for a beat. She moaned, and my already half-hard cock stiffened completely. “Thank you.”

She beamed at me before taking a seat next to me with her own plate. I hummed when I took the first bite. Fucking amazing, as always.

“You’re an amazing cook,” I complimented. I told her something along those lines every time she cooked for me, but fuck, she really was a good cook.

She giggled and tucked her hair behind her ear. “Thanks, Logic.”

Once we were done eating, I sent her into the living room to relax, and I washed dishes before drying them and putting them away. When I stepped into the living room, Amara was missing. Frowning, I called out her name, prowling to my room to see if she might be in there. It wasn’t uncommon for her to randomly take a nap using my bed.

I halted, my eyes locked on her body when I entered.

Oh, she was in my bedroom all-fucking-right.

She was naked. On my fucking bed.

“Goddammit, woman,” I growled, so hard it hurt. I reached down and adjusted my cock in my jeans. “You know what the hell you’re doing?” Her tits were on full display, her rosy areolas practically begging for my attention. Her legs were pressed together though, hiding that part of her from me.

She nodded. “I want you, Logic. Please,” she begged, her voice soft and timid.

I kicked my shoes off and prowled toward the bed. “You sure this is what you want?” I asked, my knee on the bed. Fuck, if she decided she didn’t want me on Christmas morning, this shit would gut me. But I’d have this memory with her to live with for the rest of my life. And like fuck was I passing that up. Even if it might nearly kill me in the future every time I remembered it.

“Yes, Logic. I want you.”

Fuck.

Those words were my undoing.

I pulled my shirt over my head and then crawled over her, pressing our bodies together.
