Store It in the Floor

Your floor is the perfect storage area in that you can put items underneath and forget them. This is perfect not only on a ground floor, but also in the loft area. In fact, you can really get creative here with mirrors, clothing bins, and more. These can simply pull up out of the floor when needed and recede when they are not.

Under the Bed or Lounge Area

Another outstanding storage space is under a bed, couch, or lounge area. It is possible to purchase furniture with the storage space already incorporated, but it is often better to get crafty here with some simple DIY hacks. For example, instead of a regular bed frame, use reclaimed lumber to build a platform for the mattress and box springs. Then, use wicker or bamboo baskets underneath to store clothing, linens, and more.
