The Degree Parameter
This is of int type having a default value of 3. We apply this parameter only on the polynomial kernel and decide the degree of the polynomial used in the computation. If you specify this parameter for other kernels, it will ignore its value. If you use a higher value for this parameter, it will increase your training times. The following code snippet illustrates the effect of different values on the degree.
