Quick Bits

Each person is given 30 seconds to tell others about themselves, their family, and their hobbies. Give the attendees an example of how this is done, and find a bell or buzzer to indicate their time is up.

Scavenger Hunt

This game helps attendees learn to work together to reach a common goal. To play, distribute five to ten statements and have attendees find someone who fits the description. Some examples include:

• Someone who likes pickles

• Someone who knows how to use a sewing machine

• Someone who has traveled outside the country

• Someone who plays soccer

• Someone who owns a snake

• Someone who has met a celebrity

Members need to take the statements and circulate around the room. They need to find people who fit each statement. When most of the answers are completed, collect the papers, and you can award a small prize to whoever has the most answers. Depending on your time frame, you can ask people about some of the most interesting things they learned.
